April 9, 200718 yr if you see brown it most likely is female, it looks female to me in the picture. Are we looking at the same picture??? Looks 100% male to me. :bluebudgie:
April 10, 200718 yr in his post he said brown so that is why I say that (Laughing out loud) but my screen it looks femalish though but certainly could be male :bluebudgie:

April 10, 200718 yr On my screen the cere is blue. Mine too. Its a pain when your monitor isnt showing true colours isnt it ? PS I say boy Thanks everyone for your replies This is what I mean about the cere being a bit browny purple. Around the nostrils is definately blue.. Here it's browny purple (not just brown)........... Now with a female the cere changes from pink to a lightish blue and the brown starts showing here (I think). Is this right? Or there would be two white rings around the nostrils? So therefore even though there is a slight tinge of browny purple this still looks all male to me It's always been difficult for me to see the difference but I do have an untrained eye - so trying to get it right :ausb:
April 10, 200718 yr A female never has blue that deep. A female will have a very white looking pale blue. You've got a male.
