Helllpppp Pls Re: Branches / Perches In Aviary

Guys, I am in a flaster... I have cleaned the Aviary( Pics to post) and put Toys in :wub: But when it comes to the Perches / Branches.. There is no where to put them :) The aviary is 3 sides metal and only the fron Mesh... Any Idea Please I know you are all on holidays with Easter But PLEASE!!!! *Neat Begs...

 

And they Water Tube things don't fit either... Feed Dish I am buying ( When shops open ) A suspended feeder.....

Oh please someone help I am going mad :)

You can get a suspended water container as well as the suspended feed dishes. I try and position the suspended water containers near a perch so its just a hop across to get the water. Your water tubes probably dont fit if the mesh is running the wrong way for the spout to pass through.

Re branches....My smaller aviary like that has a very large tree branch in there going from floor in one corner, over to tne opposing corner...helps babies get from floor to perches etc.

You may have to get perches and branches, position them and drill into them from outside through the metal with self drilling metal screws. Also a drilled hole from outside would enable you to pass some wire through and around the perch and then back through the hole and tie it off around a peg or nail etc.

BUT also if you go to the hardware store and look at reticulation fittings....you will find a lot of brackets and fittings for sprinkler systems and such that work to help you attach your perches. :P

I had the same problem. I overcame it by using chain link held to the top by washers and a pot rivet.. you can see in this picture what I mean.

I have pics :P of the step by steps & guess what it is FINALLY FINSHED B) Break out the bubbly :wine
