Aviary Base

Me again ..

Just wanted a few ideas for the base of my aviary.. I want the positioning so i can always see them...

I thought of cement how ever this isn't viable for the location... I have a decking that it will sit on but living in semi rural i have had snakes.... So the feed will bring mice which will bring snakes...

I have this thing called shoo snake( washes out in rain) but i don't want to risk the off chance that it doesn't want to work one time and my birds are a meal... My dogs caught the last snake....

I would love to be able to clean the aviary out to stop anything bad getting in ... If anyone has a thought or a few ideas or experience in this I would love to hear from you PLEASE.....

Shame on you all :)

Sounds like the best thing for you with your issues Neat is SUSPENDED AVIARIES

I had a dream last night with a suspended avairy in it!!! Thats freaky... I thought about that... but she would have to put something on the legs to stop the snakes from climbing wouldn't she??
