The breeder has just sent me through all their pedigrees going back as far as 6-7 generations. You dont get that kind of value from pet shops, eh Seriously, its really cool how you can trace back through the generations like that to see where they came from especially those from champion stock. Very interesting stuff.

that is wonderful Kaz you can't even get that for a dog unless you pay for it with their papers at least here in the US it was like that when we bought Niketa.

I am typing away inputting all that info into Budgerigar Program so I can do the same for future buyers of my birds. What a job !!

Some of these new guys were already pairs when I got them as they had produced good babies before. I was told to put three pairs straight down to breed and so far two pairs have eggs.

This pair have 3 eggs so far (big eggs )

 

 

and this pair also have three large eggs so far

 

 

I have two other pairs from these birds down to breed as well, but the other 2 pairs are just inspecting the nestobxes so far

Yep. They were paired up by one of the states top breeders and have produced chicks better than themselves ( I have seen the progeny ) so we are off to a good start
