Hey all

Just wanted to post some pics of the new pair i got today. Got them from a breeder who lives next to my uncle and he is getting a little old to look after them.

Pics in the travelling cage so they arent too great - will get some more ASAP

Please let me know if you have an idea of what they are

Not being able to see the back of the wings I am going to say.

They are both beautiful budgies.

 

grey (I think I see opaline) boy - the boy's wing marking where the black looks grey too?

hahahaha Hommer, there's always one in every crowd!! (just kidding). Yep I am planning to breed them, hopefully they are planning to breed as well!

More pics coming today i hope now that they are settled in their quarantine cage

Elly, see how shes got white mixed in her on her front? Thats pied markings, and im guessing recessive as i dont see any bands like dominant pieds have :D See what i mean now mate?

It could be the flash I see what you mean and I would go with dominant pied banding on that not recessive if that is not from the flash. I remember Nerwen seeing that on another bird and saying dominant pied. Also the wing marking on the back are too uniformed to be really considered recessive they are usually more splotch know what I mean? Can't tell if she has her iris rings.
