How Long Does It Take For Flight Feathers To Grow Back?

My new budgie is clipped so I'm curious as to how long it should be before her flight feathers grow back in. She is currently going through what I believe to be her first molt at the moment, and they just reclipped her yesterday (apparently she had already been clipped once before). So I'm guessing those might have been new flight feathers.

Scooter was never clipped so he was always able to fly. It's much different with a clipped bird for sure. She's extremely tame already. I can pick her up wrapping my whole hand around her without so much as a nibble. She relies on me completely for transport, but she still doesn't understand that she can't get any lift when she tries to fly. So when she does she just goes crashing to the ground. I keep trying to avoid her jumping off, but she keeps wanting to explore, and a few times she's bumped into the wall and my dresser. I'm just worried about her hurting herself.

Every time they molt they get new feathers so it depends when the next molt is due. It could take a couple molts for them to completely come back in. Pretty's came in his first molt, Merlin it took a couple. It depends on the bird :D. So if he just molted and you clipped them I would say 4-6 months. They will start to get feathers in between the molt that will give them lift though.
