Posted March 30, 200718 yr this little bird is lucky why well one night about a month ago it rained and the wind blew thunder and lighting next morning I went to check the birds and noticed that one of my breeding females was wet as. so I opened the breeding box and to my surprise it was full of water :fear there were 3 dead babies all in a pile and on top of the heap just above the water was lucky named because he was.

March 31, 200718 yr :angel1: Yes he is a real lucky lucky bird when I picked him up he was cold and Shivering I held him in my hand for about 30 min and then his mum took over in the new box with heaps of wood shavings and now she is sitting on 6 eggs as she only had the one baby so I let her go again this time with water proof boxes. :angel1: well all the best and by for now.
