I received this handbook from the avian vet when I took in Merlin for his wellness check.

I am not promoting the use of pellets as everyone has their own views on feeding pellets. I did want to share with you the information in the book for you to read to just gain knowledge. I have been reading a lot in the breeding section about chicks dying in the egg or in the nest along with birds such as mine getting sick from respiratory or digestive issues. What I find so interesting is a lot of it is linked to nutrition. Just as humans when we don't eat a good diet our immune system breaks down too.
