Posted March 29, 200718 yr I received this handbook from the avian vet when I took in Merlin for his wellness check. I am not promoting the use of pellets as everyone has their own views on feeding pellets. I did want to share with you the information in the book for you to read to just gain knowledge. It is well written and very interesting and it is FREE to read right here on-line or you can even order the booket for free I believe. http://www.harrisonsbirdfoods.com/learning...r/handbook.html I have been reading a lot in the breeding section about chicks dying in the egg or in the nest along with birds such as mine getting sick from respiratory or digestive issues. What I find so interesting is a lot of it is linked to nutrition. Just as humans when we don't eat a good diet our immune system breaks down too. I hope you find it informative and it is not here to create debate. Edited March 29, 200718 yr by Elly
