Can't help you with the lice spray. I refuse to use anything poisonous in a spray near or on my birds. I use the spot on method for scaly face and such and once a month the birds get the drinkable ivermectin in their water for worming.

You will learn a lot on these forums that will be helpful to you. Best and first lesson might be, dont go to petshops with money and looking for treatments, medications or good advice at a petshop. They are neither qualified or trained to help advise you as to what to use on your birds ( on the whole anyway :( ). They will just sell you a pile of useless products.

Re the bird with the smell. Has it a poopy bottom and maybe bacterial infection ? Check its droppings and check its keelbone for body weight to see what its state of health is.

Anything you need to ask, please do. We will only be too happy to help.

So your advice is not to use the spray and just leave it or something? And the smell... the droppings are like a oval green, evil, mean looking blob thing with a white centre. But some times it splatters everywhere which i find very disturbing :(

And whats a Poopy bottom? Like Droppings attached to it? It has nothing attached to its buttocks. And whats a keelbone?

my advise is don't use something that you don't need to use especially on birds because their immune systems are so sensative. If you suspect mites and lice run them up to the avian vet for a complete inspection.

If the poos are green it can indicate illness unless you just feed them something green but even then it is not right. Green poos can indicate inflammation of the liver but we really can't diagnosis your bird since we are not vets and can't give it a complete physical exam.

I suggest setting an appointment with an avian vet to throughly examine your bird.

No examinations are not free but are worth every cent for your feathered friend. All avian vets charge differently.

Here is how to locate one

USA/Canada:

Australia:

UK/Other:

http://www.theparrotsocietyuk.org/avian-vets.shtml

http://www.parrotpassionsuk.com/Advice/Uk_Avian_Vets.htm

If those links don't prove to be helpful, you can also call the local dog/cat veterinary clinics to see if they can refer you to the nearest avian veterinarian.

Only use an avian vet I lost Pretty 2 weeks ago and used a regular vet because that was all that was open and took Merlin for a check-up to ensure he was okay the next day to an avian vet and the difference in knowledge and examination was like night and day.

Hmmm.... So you should reccomend i should get it checked? I want to but my budget is tight. I have no job since im still a underage child  Well my vet is like a 10 min run from my house.

If you say he has green poos and he smells yes he needs to be checked out and you need to talk to your parents about your budgie and what is going on  or someone who can assist you.

Well it's not all green  Its green on the outside and white on the inside :fear i think thats normal. But some times his droppings are watery and slimy  xD What does that Indicate?

not sure only an avian vet can be sure if anything is wrong
