Dad is from show budgie stock but may not be quite up to par for showing ( sizewise ) The yellow on ALY is quite a creamy yellow, getting paler by the day, but I am sure will moult a lot darker later on. Quite a character is ALY.......reminds me of someone

March 22, 200718 yr Author Aly looked a bit lonely in the bottom of the breeder cage so I put him in the kindergarten cage with all the other babies. He was straight up onto a perch, so I will take some piks of him later.

March 29, 200718 yr Author It is with great sadness in my heart that I must tell you guys that this gorgeous baby passed away last night. He exhibited signs of depression late last night when Cheeta and Daniel were here, but no real indications of illness. I put him in the hospital cage with a warm lamp. He was dead just an hour later. I don't know why. There were no signs of anything serious. Earlier in the day he was playing in the kindergarten cage with all the rest and he had been eating. His crop had food in it. I am thinking maybe he caught a chill. I had hopes for this boy. He was special and thats why I gave him Aly's name...as she is special too. I am truly very sad about this. It reminds me of how fast things can turn with little or no signs as in the case of Pretty RIP my angel ALY :angel1: Edited March 29, 200718 yr by Kaz
