My Merlin boy seems so quiet and I can tell you the noise range as gone from 10 to 3.

I know you are spending more time with him now, and I know that helps. It might take a little time for him to get used to being the only bird. I'm sure you are doing everything right.

I like the third picture best, he's such a handsome boy. Nothing beats millet when you're down! :glare: Hope he perks up soon.

I am sure he will be feeling very much like a part of his life is missing and I am sure he will find his friend in you Elly. A good time to bond now, as you didnt quite have that one on one time before. Hope it brings you closer. :offtopic:

Thank you Ann. Yes I finally have time to spend today I did it in increments when I come and sit down at my computer. With the cats roaming it is hard and I don't want to take him out in the big rooms yet with his wings clipped and him falling all over. I would rather have him in my room and I sit at the computer enough :offtopic: and our dog Cabela doesn't bother him as long as he supervised of course!!

Thank you Shawna, I am surprised he is not calling as much as I thought he would. I believe if it was the other way around Pretty would have been calling up and down he always did for Merlin.

Thank you Kirby. The last one is a heart breaker I agree . Today he spent time on my shoulder, on my finger and he always lets me kiss his chest, he never minded me close me putting him close to my face (Pretty never did either but was more apt to fly away) Merlin just stays there. Alway started working on the pellet conversion very slowing as I still need to get the scale. I am planning on trying office supply place and I also got a great recommendation from Ann too

I know usually he is in bed by now but I have him out spending some time with him he would rather be in bed I think (Laughing out loud). Cabela is a champ when he flys away and goes to the ground he doesn't move or anything.

as I told Shawna in my other post not right now, I am going to focus on getting to know Merlin and his personality better , he is such a quiet, regal gentle boy, an not hyper at all. I really got to know Pretty because he was solo for 9 months. The urge hasn't come to me right now.

The "english/show type" budgie is a quiter gentler kind of budgie I have found. Time now for Merlin's personality to shine. Love to you both :angel1: Kaz
