It's been so long since i've posted and boy am i sorry, but my computer crashed not once but twice, THEN had some illness go through my flock and wipe out almost all of them. I only have one of the orgional flock left of budgies, vets couldn't find out the problem. Hubby still has his african grey and i have the white budgie left, my oldest has recenlty purchased a budgie and i have a sun conure, cat got ahold of my tiels so i only have the mated pair it's been awful....bird killing cats are gone....the local humane society asked me to take in a cat which stupidly i did and my nephew let the cat in the bird room and i didn't realize it and then closed the door i felt horrible we left and came home to a horror show managed to keep the one alive but he was never the same so i found a home for him with no other animals but birds. that cat is gone of course......i called immediatly and told humane society to come get him asap.

How horrible for you! It sounds like the past several weeks have just been a trial. I am glad to see you back, but very sorry for all that has gone on in your absence.

Glad you are back and sorry about what happened, don't have a particularly soft spot for cats but then I have a bad allergic reaction to them.

WOW is all I can say. Certainly wasn't the cat's fault in anyway could have happened with a dog. I do hope the cat did find a home in the long run . I can see why you were angry toward the cat though. I hope you can regain your flock again and welcome back

awww, I'm so sorry to hear all the troubles you had to go through with your flock... Good to have you back on the forum though, and here's hoping all good things for you and your flock from now on.
