March 13, 200718 yr She is a YF cobalt recessive pied He is a Golden face type 2 spangle I've noticed you say goldenface type 2 several times now. How can goldenface be type anything? I thought it was like yellowface type 3? So there's yf1, yf2 and goldenface?
March 13, 200718 yr Golden face just refers to the depth of colour in the mask as far as I know Bea. In show breeding we are told that Yellowface is a pale lemony yellow and golden face is bright strong gold. Correct me if I am wrong.
March 13, 200718 yr And aslo golden face is used more often when the body turn to a green that looks like a normal green. The type 2 is still used becuase the yellow bleeds into the body just like the yellowface. I agree with Karen on their types but thought to let you know harlequins is another term used for Recessive pieds in australia.
