July 14, 200816 yr Author That's a really cool (i mean HOT) heater :hap: Will it dry out the air or is the ceramic part allow the moisture to remain?? hmmmm I am now going to look into insulation for my little shed - will have to see if i will have enough room for it :hap: It has a temperature control to regulate the temperature, and I would hazzard a guess I can put a jug of water in the room to allow for humidity. But I also run water cooled air coolers in summer too. I will play it by ear, I think and see how it goes.

July 19, 200816 yr Author We have fitted the end gates ( security doors ) that will lead into the future new flights. Had to restructure the framing around the doors and then redo the external colourbond cladding of the birdroom. Just before my husband was about to reclad the outside walls, I stopped him from doing it all the way up from ground level to roof height and just got him to do it from ground to half way. I have decided since I do leadlights for a living, I will use the space and put some leadlights in next to the doors. Now all I have to do, is think of what to put there. BUDGIES are difficult to make as genuine leadlights, but I may give it a try anyway. So, some delays now while that happens, but my workload is halted for a few days after Mondays deadlines, so by the end of the week I should have the leadlights in the new birdroom. That will add a nice splash of colour and pizazz to the new birdroom I think
July 19, 200816 yr that is going to be beautiful, I can't wait to see everything when you are finished...maybe instead of budgies you can do nature setting of what the budgies live in?

July 20, 200816 yr Author I find the hardest thing to do as a leadlighter myself .....is to do leadlights for myself. I always have trouble deciding what to do and then I want to change them every six months :hap:
July 22, 200816 yr Author Looks like the leadlights wont happen this week as we have to go down to the Port to ease the new hearse through customs and quarantine tomorrow and maybe the next day too. Anyway, here is the pictures of the doors fitted that will go out into the future new flights. They are security doors...steel and powdercoated. Leadlights will be fitted to each side of the doors...to the left and to the right, from the level of the door handle upwards but next to the doors. We have temporarily boarded the area up. Here is a close up of the type of door Very, very strong, lockable and also see through into the future flights. As you can see...its currently looking like a building site. I also have to finish off the tiling now under the doors.
July 22, 200816 yr Very impressive! Not only will it be practical but pretty too! Cant wait to see the leadlighting features!
July 22, 200816 yr What a pity... but you'll get there. I simply can't wait until your finished (not as much as you I'm guessing! lol)
July 22, 200816 yr I am so excited for you!! It is going to be brilliant when it is done!! I really look forward to your leadlights too, they will be awesome and you are so talented

Again you have suprised me Well, Neat...we were going to build one with steel frame and aviary mesh. But the costs of the steel and components were huge. Then these doors were found on clearance in Bunnings for $89 and we worked out it was cheaper to buy and fit these
July 22, 200816 yr looking good, and good luck with the hearse going through customs look forward to seeing pictures of both them side by side.
