October 6, 200915 yr You were very valuable as well on the day Renee so many thanks. Hows Tony's cut finger ? Not serious at all! Despite being quite deep it had completely closed over when we took the band aid off yesterday I have started doing the mesh down the centre. One section done today Is it very tricky to do?

Meshing is a pain........even Cec said the other day he hated that part of the job. Its slow and tedious and cutting the mesh gives you blisters on all your fingers.

October 11, 200915 yr Oh it's really looking great! Have you finished the meshing now? Are you ready to do perches? Or will you do the pop outs/suspended aviary next?
October 11, 200915 yr Author Oh it's really looking great! Have you finished the meshing now? Are you ready to do perches? Or will you do the pop outs/suspended aviary next? Most meshing is finshed all except window meshing and front which will have to be the last thing. We are currently working on the popout/suspended section right now. Perching is down there ready to go. The whole perching rack will be hinged at the top and secured at bottom with slide bolts, so it can be dropped against the wall by sliding back the slide bolts, ............and that will mean I can clean the floor under the perches easily and clean perches themselves and replace any perches in the future that get eaten through. We found some great powdercoated steel brackets thrown out front of a house for rubbish removal and we are recycling them for the supports for the popout section Edited October 11, 200915 yr by KAZ

Your setup is looking really good. I can't wait to see it finished. (As I'm sure you and Ken are, too ) Edited October 11, 200915 yr by Finnie

October 11, 200915 yr I know it still seems a long way off, but the continual progress you are making is amazing. Yes, it will be good when it is done, but you should be proud of its development. Well done to you and Ken.
