January 2, 200916 yr Author Is it going to be finished soon Kaz? You need room for more birds Finished by midday Sunday Daz, if not sooner. I believe Queensland birds are used to warmer weather
January 3, 200916 yr Looks great!! Â Sorry if this has been asked before, but is permapine okay for budgies, or will they not be able to get to it? (Or is that not permapine?)
January 3, 200916 yr Author Looks great!! Sorry if this has been asked before, but is permapine okay for budgies, or will they not be able to get to it? (Or is that not permapine?) The pine poles are treated pine but AGED. However, every pine pole I am using will be wrapped with spare aviary wire so the birds cannot chew it. Even when the birds were in the aviaries with the treated pine poles they never chewed it ever, BUT I just dont want to take the chance.
January 3, 200916 yr Ah okay, that's good to hear because I think treated pine and horizontal galv make really good "Australiana" looking aviaries!!

January 12, 200916 yr I LOVE it Kaz! I'm green with envy! I can't convert my old cat run into an aviary until later this year when I recover from paying for our new lounge tomorrow . I'll have collected plenty of ideas from you and others by then though! ..... :budgiedance:
