Well...delays are happening. My brother arrived for a visit so I was busy taking him places. BUT Renee and her husband Tony , and RIPBudgies arrived yesterday to assist with the aviary. We got a fair bit done. We have more patio tubing up, we have a back wall up and we have the mesh ready to go up. I see it possibly being finished by next weekend at this stage.

Except that it was really RIP and Tony who did the hard grunt as I am absolutely useless when it comes to anything practical!

You did your bit too Renee. Don't forget you gave that bottle of wine a nudge. The lunch Kaz put together was far more than I expected. Poor Ken was certainly feeling it by the end of the day though. It was a good day and a lot was achieved and it's good to get together with fellow fanciers for a fun day.

hopefully less plumbers crack - LOL
Ken is good at that :D I am painting all the metal today.I decided on how to do the front opening to the aviary so I could open it up for breezes in summer and close it for winter. I bought a large aluminium sliding window that will go in the front ( have to source some smaller ones for the back ) .............will mesh the side that opens.
