The rest is easy I am a very happy girl Doesnt take the doves long to trit trot across the wet concrete Edited September 11, 200915 yr by KAZ

September 11, 200915 yr Author It has been christened... for birds Hope its a blessing beautiful! the slabs looking fully sick ! when doesit finish drying? They said I can walk on it tomorrow. That looks great Kaz Should see my wonky floor that Greg did A lot of people told me we could do it ourselves, but I risked it looking like a dogs breakfast if we tried. Its was a job best left to the professionals.

September 22, 200915 yr Author How goes the aviary Kaz? Updates? Pictures? I have done most of the external footings ready for the external cladding of colourbond. I am today doing some of the metal channels down at the slab level ready for the cladding. I have a few days next week designated for further work with assistance from another BBC forum member. End of next week should see birds in the new space. Ken had to dismantle the existing shed area at the far right of the new flights, so I had to wait for him to do that. September 26, 200915 yr Author I have begun to fit out the structure for the walls and mesh and divisions in the aviary.........Spending a few $$$'s on materials etc. Lots of working with the angle grinder cutting metal framework and also dynabolting the framework into the concrete slab. I hate hammerdrilling and dynabolting.........love metal cutting with the grinder. Will have some help next week...Ripbudgies is coming to assist. I will also have to work amidst the week breaking up the week a little and to earn some more $$$'s. I am hoping to put the birds in the new flights by saturday the 3rd of october. Sunday I will have a visitor from Tassie............a forum member who is over here for a few days, so I will take him to the Rares show on Sunday. Edited September 26, 200915 yr by KAZ
