Posted March 11, 200718 yr shes been with me for a few days now and shes totally mad, she knows where the cage doors are and rattles them quite often, she is getting to know her bells and all but her favorite toy is a clothes peg which she pulls along the bars of the cage, shes comfortable with my hands now and hops onto my finger, maybe a few weeks and she can come out for a bit,last night i had togo out to a party and when we got home she had somehow pulled her water dish off the cage,the floor of the cage was soaked!! i have managed to get a few pics done and im posting them now in the piccy section.
March 11, 200718 yr She's doing what a new budgie does, exploring and destroying stuff. Sometimes they just sit there like a rock for the first few days as they are so scared, you have a really busy one!

March 13, 200718 yr Author making great progress with jimmie, i think she will be really tame, she sits on my finger no probs, she even lets me give her tickels and scratch her head, a few times after eating she has husks on her face and she even lets me pick them off!! i feel blessed again

March 14, 200718 yr Author yeah very lucky again, i came home tonight and she had a pink head!! shes rubbed then iodine block up! she does some crazy moves too,ill try and describe, she sort of hangs on the bars and tries to turn herself inside out,sometimes the leg looks like its strangling her.!!crazy
