New Pair

Today was the canberra bird sale and I went alog intending to buy a pair of the larger English/Show budgies.

My luck held out!! A show breeder from NSW (can't remeber his name) brought out a couple of his birds from last years clutches. He said hes bred 7 grand champs... :)

I picked out these two:

A nice Yellowface Skyblue

Boy

And a huge Green Spangle ( I think? She has alot of blue on her belly...)

Girl Front

Girl Back

What do you think?

:) Lovely birds. I particularly love the yellowface boy :D

Your hen seem to be a golden face type 2 spangle

Oh they are a great pair! I also love the boy. I'm not good with the mutations, but i think your right with the spangle.

Your hen seem to be a golden face type 2 spangle

That would be so amazing :) I will get some more photos of her and put a post in the Mutations section, see what other people think.

ellulah very nice birds, Can I ask what the ring numbers are and I'll tell you the Breeder?

There are 06 birds, Gold rings.

Hens tag: BIS (small) AH 06 003

Cocks tag: NSW 06 1751

They have now been named - hen, Twinky cock, Yodel. They are the names of the candy/snacks the main character eats in Click. Named so cause they are so much bigger (fatter looking) than my other budgies. :D

congrats on the find they are gorgeous
