My "Blue" is in the breeding cage with the Dilute Violet Opaline and he has been laying down on top of the nest box? Is this normal? It is a snug place because it is almost at the top corner of the cage and he loves it there. Is he okay or...? He never used to lay down in teh big cage...just the breeding cage. He lays on his stomach.

is he fluffed up or any other signs of illness because thats what it sounds like, otherwise it shouldnt be a problem expecially as he is a male if it were a female i would consider egg binding
