Jj's Beak

Featured Replies

Posted

Yeserday morning I noticed what looked like a pimple on JJ's beak.During the day it got bigger so

I took him to a vet.The vet found a foriegn object like a seed husk lodged in his beak and got it out.

Little JJ was so brave he didn't even try to struggle. He is still hungry and feeding fine but this morning it has swollen up again.

Do you guys know any pointers, has this happened to anyone before?I am going back to vet this afternoon

as I am not happy with it.Very scared I might lose this cute little battler.

Here is a photo of him after vet trip, during feed time.

Poor little JJ. Give him a big cuddle for me, he's such a sweetie. I've never seen anything like that, hopefully the swelling will go down and he'll be happy and healthy.

poor fellow :budgiedance: I've not heard of that before but I've not had to hand feed any bub either. I would have thought the vet would have given some med to help with any secondary infections that might have started from the problem's.

:budgiedance: Hope JJ makes out okay, what a sweetie! Keep us informed of any new developments. :ygbudgie:
