Hi everyone! Its been a while since I've had a chance to log on, so its been fun catching up on everyone's feathered adventures over the last couple of days.

Thought I'd post some recent pics of my little ones (who aren't really little any more): Petey, and his sister Cinnamon Princess (or Shazza as I like to call her).

Isn't he so handsome? What a cutie

I love this one where she's trying to pick up the seed in her beak - its far too big but that wasn't stopping her!

The best thing about these gorgeous young ones is that because they're so curious and are quite happy to sit on my hand or come over to talk to me, Charlie, the old battleaxe who's resisted my love for the last 4 1/2 years is slowly coming around! Each day its something more - so far its just been a little nibble of my hand, but its better than the flesh tearing chomps I used to get!

I love my birds

they are gorgeous and they certianly are enjoying themselves :hap:

Looks like they are enjoying those sprouts. I love your grey budgie.

:hap: What lovely budgies you have! They sure are enjoying their sprouts, good birds! :D

What beautiful birds and great photos. How did you grow the snow peas?

from seed out of a packet or fresh? My birds love snow pea sprouts but I buy them from my green grocer.

wow- she looks like a metal statue. Such a contrast next to the sprouts!!

I would love to know how to grow snow pea sprouts too! :D I buy them from the supermarket for my guys.

You're budgies are looking gorgeous! :ausb: Definitely enjoying their sprouts there. Have you seen the latest photos of the babies you gave me? They're all grown up now!

Yep, the gang just love these greens the best! I bought a packet of seeds from a nursery a while ago, and every now and then I grow some in a container in some cotton wool and water. I have to admit, I originally grew them to put in my own salad, but when I saw how much the birdies loved them, I tend to give them the lion's share (especially when they got into the container last time - I didn't feel like eating it after it had budgie feet all over it!)

Thanks for posting the piccies of the baby greys Bea, they're so big now! And so beautiful too (but I'm biased!) We were over near your place recently and I was thinking about how they were so your post was perfect timing. They've got such a wonderful home with your aviary birds - I couldn't have asked for a better outcome :D

Speaking of the gang, they're all out of their cages at the moment so I'd best get back to check that no-one's being picked on!
