When my family sits down for dinner, my two birds, Cookie & Roxy, fly on to the table, I have noticed that they start eating salt. Can anyone please tell me if budgerigars can eat salt, Thanks!!

Salt is bad for budgies, so make sure it's out of reach when they're out.

salt is bad for birds, however if they've only gotten a tiny tiny tiny little bit accidentally, it's not going to kill them. Just makes sure that they can't get to them easily.
