Posted January 26, 200718 yr I took Pippin on Tuesday to see an avian vet who after giving him a thorough examination said he was suffering from sinusitus. He gave him an injection of Baytril and he has been having it daily in his water since. I can't believe the difference in my little boy, he is so lively and back to doing the mischievous things he did before I realised how unwell he really was. Pippin was going through quite a heavy moult and I put his change in personality down to this. It's amazing and also quite scary as to how well these little ones can hide their sickness and it's been a sharp lesson for me also. I feel a lot happier now knowing he is getting better and also knowing that I now have a really good vet who knows what he is doing and just what to look for. I see now why all of you recommend that an avian vet is used. Thanks to everyone who gave me advise :budgiedance:

January 27, 200718 yr Fantastic news, it's always good to hear about these little ones ,that are sick, recovering. It is amazing how fast they react to the right meds too. Feathers.
