Here are some photo's ofmy very first chicks! The older one is three weeks old today and the younger one is 19days. They are named Cereal and Dankie.

 

I think Cereal is a dominant pied opaline clear flight light green just like dad. Dankie appears to be an opaline also and maybe a sky blue?? i didn't htink that was possible from these parents but that is the colour showing threw so far.

And here are another couple who are currently separated from the flock they appeared to have some kind of vomiting thing but I am very very relieved to say that both are looking well again. [although still alittle under weight]

And here is my duck....

After some very good advice Duckie now lives very happily on the outside of the avairy.

What Beautiful Babies. I'm glad to hear that your other two budgies are feeling better. Duckie is a pretty looking duck what type is he/she??

What a great looking family :sad: dad is very handsome too and the chicks look terrific. One just like Dad looks like too.

They are beautiful bubs, looking great, and I love proud dad on the nestbox perch too.

as for the sky blue add to the parents records that they are both split for the blue gene :sad:

Oh yes i just worked out they must btoht be split for blue today.

hahaha.

Duckie is a muscovy. He is 12weeks old. and still growing! HE keeps the cats away from the avairy.
