I know this sounds really bad but I have to ask, will a male budgie try to mount another male? I am trying to get some pics but I have two males and one of them is constantly trying to 'breed' with the other. Is this common, like in dogs is it a sign of dominance? :budgiedance:

:D:D Can be a sign of dominance, or confusion, or just not enough girls to go around. Are you certain that both are males ?

Well I am as certain as I can be, they both have very dark blue ceres. Looks to me like they are in breeding condition.

:D Then they are happy overly sexually charged boys. It happens a lot. One of my most worrisome "gay" boys has just fathered some delightful babies at age 5 after only liking boys for the longest time. :D

Well that is good to know. I hope someday, Hercules and Clyde will father their own clutches with one of the girls. :D Thanks a lot Bubbles.
