Birds can not tell the bird in the mirror is there own reflection. I have a bird Petey who just loves licking mirrors. He has a female that flies around and lives with him. They have five babies together. Petey still loves his mirrors and licks them all the time. Please if he likes his reflection get him mirrors. Some pots can be toxic. I think it's tefflon that is bad for them. Not professional just love Budgies. I have seven. GOOD LUCK
