A Weird Eye

Hi Everyone,

I have a 5 year old budgie named Georgie and lately I've noticed that is right eye is stained and wet looking.

He has a little birch thingie with a mirror that he constantly ****s, he regurgitates on the mirror, but lately he has been rubbing his head around the mirror, I don't think he is sick because his personality hasn't changed. he still ****s the mirror but keeps rubbing his eye, what could it be?

and how do i post a picture of him?

thanks,

sean

Hi Sean. Might be a good idea to use subtle words to describe your budgie. For instance, he's "mating" with his mirror.

Anyhow, as far as his eye, he may have injured or irritated it by rubbing it on the toy. Sometimes they get very itchy when they molt and that might be why he's rubbing his face on toys so much. It could also be an infection of sorts. Either way, it wouldn't hurt to have an avian vet look it over it case it needs treatment.
