Do you guys think this Recipe for Egg Food is good? It was great! The budgies liked it!

 

6 Unsalted crackers

1 Boiled egg

1/4 Whole Wheat Brown Bred Toasted

4 Drops of Vitamins

2 Teaspoons of chopped Brocloli

 

I mashed the crackers until they became powder. Than I mashed the Boiled egg with a fork and mixed it together with the cracker powder. Than I crumbled the dry Whole Wheat Toast , on top of mixture and added 4 drops of Budgie Vitamins. I mixed it all together and after I put it in a shallow bowl and scattered some small brocoli peices on top of the egg food mix.

 

Is this okay? It my own recipe :hap:

 

I alsop left some egg shells in it but I also made tehm into very small peices.

:hap: Hello Joey and welcome to the forum looks good to me but best double check with the "experts" whom have already posted their recipes for egg food for which they have had good results (I am lazy and purchase mine). :ygbudgie:

I'm not sure about the crackers or the added vitamins - they're probably okay though. When i make my own egg food i use a hard boiled egg, some wholemeal bread crumbs and a little bit of seed. I just mush it all together so that the egg isn't really wet feeling (it's less messy when they throw it everywhere this way :hap:). I usually add some grated carrot or other finely chopped veggies too.
