Posted December 30, 200618 yr I just got my monsters some bok choy as I've read its good for them. Do you just give them the leafy parts, or the thick stem/stalk part too?
December 30, 200618 yr It is similar to romain hearts isn't it? My birds love the whole thing wether I chop it up small or hang it from the bars.
December 31, 200618 yr :hap: It seems to be a terrible waste not to give them the whole thing but I have always just basically chopped up the green parts, we shall await a response from Bubbles, she is very knowlegable about bok choy. :hap:

My budgies eat it all. Bok choy is better for them than spinach or silver beet. I just slice the lot up and they eat it all.
December 31, 200618 yr Personally i think it's feral, however, Blinkie and Ozzie will only eat the leafy bit. The aviary birds scoff the lot down, (Laughing out loud). I'm yet to see which bit the tiels will eat.
January 2, 200718 yr I never fed Bok Choy...I have fed Danelions, Spinach, Romaine, Carrot Tops, Celery, Parsley...what else do you guys feed your budgies? As in greens?
