Poor Oscar

My poor little Oscar is sick! We got him out his cage this morning and he was all puffed up - he didn't even want to play with any of his toys, just wanted to sleep on my finger. :D He usually is so full of energy in the morning, he hasn't tweeted once today. I'm so worried about him - i'm terrified he's got the same thing that Cheeky had. I've got an appointment at the vet at 5.30 so fingers crossed. Please say a wee prayer for him.

I hope his quick visit to the vet goes okay for you and its nothing serious. My thoughts are with you and little Oscar. Keep us updated.

Oh no! I hope Oscar gets better real quick!

 Poor Oscar, glad you got him in right away, he is getting treatment and will be fine in no time at all. :ausb:

Great job on the quick response! I am impressed, and I am sure that Oscar will be okay. He is lucky to have you.

thanks guys, he's back to his chirpy self again! we caught it really quickly so i think he'll be as good as new!!

Hope you all have a great new year!

Great News!!!! Happy New Year to you too.

Hooray!!! Isn't it amazing how fast they respond to meds? I suppose that if they do their best to hide being sick as long as they can, its not long before they can hide it again. In a few days he'll be feeling well enough to start resisting when its time for medicine. Its kind of funny!

:budgiedance: Glad Oscar is doing better, miracle drugs they are, those antibiotics! (Unfortunately I am allergic to most of them). :)

That's great to hear! :hap:

I'm really pleased to read that he got such great treatment fast and is getting better.
