Hey everyone! I'm so glad to have found this forum. I've been reading the posts for sometime and eventually felt compelled to join and ask a few questions. First, I gotta say I'm not totally new to keeping birds. I have bred and raised finches for about twenty years. But this past August I finally gave in and bought my first budgie. Freebird is a hen, who is now about 8 months old. This past Saturday I bought her a mate, Casper. He is a 2 yo and is much tamer than my hen. He enjoys sitting on my shoulder and exploring my desk while I'm on the computer. Here are a few photos...

Beside the two budgies I also have; 14 finches, a cat, a foster dog, and two horses.

These are wonderful birds! They look happy and content in their new home! :)

Hi Tammie, welcome to the forum. Casper is lovely, so is Freebird, but I told you how pretty she was in the other post :)

Welcome, Casper and Freebird are beautiful :):D

Thanks for the kind words. I'll be a frequent visitor to this wonderful forum!

Thanks. I'm enjoying them. Never knew budgies could be so entertaining!

 Hi Tammie, love your budgies, yes, they ARE entertaining! :hap:
