Hi guys, Here are another 3 budgies. What type are they?

 

 

Kyan : Little King

 

 

 

Oh-oh : Opps we got another budgie

 

 

 

 

Sora : Songbird that Chirps (Kyan's sister - excuse the carrot face)

Sora & Kyan are both beautiful opalines, I think skyblue but hard to tell on my monitor, not sure about oh-oh, perhaps a greywing or dilute skyblue... I can't tell the difference!

 

Oh I am a novice at this so I am sure someone else will come along and correct me

 

They are beautiful by the way - I esp love Oh-oh, I love the washed out colours

I would say Sora & Kyan and cobalts Riebie is right about about the opaline

 

Oh-Oh is a very cute spangle, with I think a greywing gene as well.

Can't believe I didn't notice the spangle

Kyan and Sora are darker than what shows in the pictures, so definitely not skyblue, and I thought Oh-oh was a dilute too.

A greywing is part of the dilute family.

 

Looking at the other two they are either a cobalt of violets it's hard to tell in photos.

Thanks Riebe and Nerwen. I thought the same way. I was going to wait till after Kyan and Sora's first moult to see if the colour in them darkens any more.. they are leaning towards being violets.

[blushes like crazy] Ummm, well.. these have actually been in quarantine for a little while. I thought I'd wait for a little while before introducing them.

 

I'll stop now.. really.. till at least christmas.....
