MY DAUGHTERS BUDGIE HAS RED EYE LID THAT IS SWOLLEN DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVICE ON WHAT WE CAN DO. I GOES AWAY AND THEN COMES BACK AGAIN :D

You should get the bird to an avian vet for a proper check up. If you are not sure of one in your area we can help you find one. :D

Has he been scratching a lot? I had a budgie with a sinus infection and it was always scratching at it's head and face making it's skin seem red. I agree with CheekyChucky, you'll need to see an avian vet tomorrow. In the meantime just keep him comfortable.

I also agree, an avian vet is best.

Bea sounds right, if it appears red now and then, it's because he has been scratching at it and it gets swollen. Birds have sinuses right near their eyes and if that gets infected it can get very itchy and eventually painful.

Good luck, let us know how it goes.

An avian vet is the best for the bird. Then you will also know the cuase of this pronlem. The bird's eye is important to them and you don't want to be messing with guesswork on how to treat it.

Sinus infection with budige show up at the start as an infected eye. This could be the start of that showing, or something more simple such as sratching often. To be sure the bird needs an avian vet.
