hello to evryone. im just new here and hope to learn more on raising and taking good care of these loving birds.

 

my question is how can i know or is there any signs of my budgies mating or will soon lay eggs its been a month since i have them and i usually see them bonding together and often seen them both inside their little home (nesting). what are they doing? im just excited and happy to raise youngs and make them happier also.

the mating ritual can take a while,you will have to watch them as much as you can according to book i have after the first actual mating watch for 7 days to see if any eggs are laid and then they lay eggs every other day,but please ask advice,hath,rainbow kathy julie orscarchik1 i find have quite a bit of knowledge.my misty eventually laid seven eggs but i think she was still young and they never hatched ,she waited and sat on the eggs for over 22 days and then she decided to destroy them,i think she knew.so fingers crossed for her again.she has matured with age now.so watch and be patient? and ask for advice from the forum.
