Have so many photos I don't know what to do with them.Maybe I should document

growth of the babies as I take photos every day? What do you guys think?(Laughing out loud)

:rip:

Document away. Absolutely fantastic pictures, especially the 1st one. Love your photography as I said before. Terrific

that is wonderful I didn't realize they ate laying down I thought they were on their bellys. More pics..

wonderful shots :rip:

Lovey for the first little while they are flipped over to be fed but later when they can hold their head up and balance more they get fed more normally.

;) Fantastic shots! That is why I was so fascinated with Comet, he would haul his babies out from under Star, flip them on their backs, like really fast (remember I had no nest box so this was occuring right in front of my eyes), feed them and then put them back under Star, obviously you have a superdad as well! :P (in my research I found out that budgies are one of the few birds that cannot hold their heads up the first few days as their necks are so weak, quite a shock to me after feeding hundreds of baby birds at the Wildlife Shelter in the last decade plus).

They are excellent...

baby budgies, mmm can't wait till I have the time to learn about baby raising and then find a mate for my little girl... not that I really want to share her with anyone :)

The more I learn and the more pics I see of fragile little budgie babies the more afraid I get of breeding. I want to breed, but I am terrified that my budgie parents will leave me in charge of feeding those tiny angels and I just don't know if I am up to it. I am so afraid that I would make a mistake and end up broken hearted. :) I just love them so much.
