Greywing Skyblue - Whitewing Skyblue - White Skyblue

 

Note that the Grey Wings has only 50% of normal body colour depth.

 

You can have a Grey wing with full bodycolour, but the tail is still greyish (the Clear Wings has blue tailfeathers).

 

You can also have a Cinnamon Grey Wing, and as you normally don't see any cinnamon markings, but a Grey Wing with even more diluted wingmarking, it is very easy to take it for a Yellow or a White.

 

Note that the Clear Wings has violet cheek patches, dark blue tail feathers and full body colour.

 

A Spangle with no markings on the wings can be mistaken with a Clear Wing, but the latter differ in cheek patches and tail feathers.

 

As the non Australian Clear Wings has markings on the wings to some extent, they can be mistaken with Grey Wings, but still - note the cheek patches, tail feathers and the body colour.

 

The so called suffused (White or Yellow) should have a pastel colour all over except for the mask.

 

When you have it with the Opaline, the wing markings are more visible.

I don't think I've ever seen a good representation of a whitewing. Has anyone?

I do remember seeing in a pet store a yellowwing with out a hint of markings, but this was so long ago I didn't realise how special that was. Most I see these days still have markings.
