i have three busgies two females and one male they r over 10 months and i have a nest box in the cage and they have going in there for over a month but there is noo egg do they just play in the nestbox i had wood shaving and they keep throwing it outside the box but i dont know will they breed or no ? and i do want them to breed. i m aksing this because i heard bidgies only go in the nest box when they want to breed but i am not sure so please help me out

They are just checking it out and, yes, probably playing in there. A lot of budgies will throw out their shavings. Are any of the budgies in breeding condition (ie dark brown or crusty cere for the females)? I would be careful with 2 females in together if they do start to breed as the non nesting female could cause problems.

I agree with feather they need to be separated from each other you will have issues.
