i have some how have a shelf full of red kidney beans in can, can i give them to my birds? if so do i rinse them?

I give them to my cockatoo, but I've never given them to my budgies..

I tend to only give a little bit as I dont know what the sodium level is in those tined kidney beans.

 

Yes, I just rinse them off real good and then let him hold one by one. He loves it.

Cheeta would dried kidney beans be better the sodium level contents would be much lower and all you have to do is soak them to soften them up?

Lovey, yes I do use the dried kidney beans... or at least the sprouting type anyway. The tinned stuff, I meant when I am actually using it for my cooking, and I would give a few beans to him for a little treat. he loves it.
