Posted November 18, 200618 yr Well Mumma Budgie's widower has certainly moved on! They are the proud parents of a little baby (I don't think it's theirs though - I fostered them an egg).
November 26, 200618 yr Author There are now 2 babies! 1 is an ino. I really didn't expect one of theirs to be fertile!
November 26, 200618 yr if you didnt mark the egg and fostered it how will you know for future breeding pairs
November 26, 200618 yr Author Congratulations. Why didn't you expect theirs to be fertile? Their eggs appeared clear. Just as well I don't throw the eggs out straight away!

December 3, 200618 yr Author if you didnt mark the egg and fostered it how will you know for future breeding pairs I knew the egg. The fostered egg was larger than the other eggs.
December 3, 200618 yr Author Baby is doing well, I am a little worried as when I check it the crop is never full - it does have food in it though. It could well be that I just check before feed time but I am still keeping an eye on it. The little baby looks like it is going to be a Sky Blue Cinnamon Spangle - half brother/sister to That Boy and Jazz.
