are almonds bad for budgies?

i feed them to my other parrots so i wouldn't see why not, just make sure they are not flavored/salted and don't have any preservatives in them, organic from what i know is best

And they're probably best kept to a treat rather than a food fed often. I sometimes let my boys have a nibble of an almond and they seem to love it but i think they'd be a bit fatty for them.
