It took awhile for me to ever get some video of a chick hatching, but finally I got it. Here is chick number two for Atlas and Bloo. With sound.

I apologise for the fact that chick number two is behind chick number one, but you will see the chick flip out of the eggshell just behind chick number one slightly to the right of shot.

She wasn't too impressed. When I looked in at the first baby the other day, she picked up the baby by the neck with her beak and put it under her so I couldn't see it. I thought she would break it's neck !

Yes, it was her. She doesn't much like interuptions but is getting better with time. With her first clutch, she was a terror, but obligingly flew out of the box and let me look. This time she is better. At least she doesnt peck me like Pina does.

My mom and i just watched it and she was almost crying becuase it was so sweet to see him enter the big world And ive got her knowing colours and she was like "look at the gorgeous skyblue spangle hen!!!"...I was soo shocked...it was like hearing your baby say his first word...my mom identified her first colour!!! (Laughing out loud) (wow that sounds pathetic (Laughing out loud))
