On another topic of Daz's once, we all discussed nesting boxes. Daz had a design that he liked and made and I had a nesting box type that we "inherited" with our scarlet chested parrots. It was an L-shaped nesting box not intended for the budgies. I had to hang a couple of them up in the aviary once when I ran short of nesting boxes and the budgies all fought over them as they thought they were "just it"

So, I know a man who works with timber and stuff and actually makes nesting boxes for all kinds of birds. I got a hold of some exterior grade plywood at a really good price and saw my friend about cutting out some boxes in the type that the budgies liked using the old box for a plan with improvements. As a result, my friend Frank cut out 60 boxes for me from 20 small sheets of ply ( Frank was very economical with a cutting plan ) ....some I'll keep and maybe sell off the extras. Frank is a perfectionist and the box work is excellent. I just wanted them cut out as I will assemble as needed. The difference between the old box and the new box is the top hinged lid. I have had it designed so that the front half with the hole and perch will go into a breeding cabinet (when I build them ) and the nest end is out at the front of the breeding cage. It has a hinged lid so I can check babies from the outside. I will be able to slide the box out for cleaning leaving parents in the breeder cage.

okay, let me say that i have found some characters that give the dreaded 403 error! I cant remember what they are :ausb: The server just wont process the page if it features that character. My host and I are working to get this fixed at some stange!!

So what is the exact error that comes up?? what are you exactly doing etc.

The error that comes up is exactly the same one as the one Bea has already posted a copy of. I was allowed to post only a certain portion of my original topic (it is only partly completed) ....the error meassge came up with the whole posting of my topic so I thought maybe it was too big (which it wasnt) and removed some thinking I could add it as an edit. From that point on I havent been able to add the next paragraph of my topic anyway I try to as others who are trying to help havent been able to either. Just keep getting the error message. :ausb:
