Miss Me, But Let Me Go.

MISS ME, BUT LET ME GO.

When I come to the end of the road,

and the sun has set me free,

I want no rites in a gloom filled room,

Why cry for a soul that is free?

Miss me a little, but not too long

And not with your head bowed low.

Remember the love that we once shared;

Miss me, but let me go.

For this journey that we all must take

And each must go alone,

It's all part of natures plan...

A step on the road home.

When you are lonely and sick at heart,

Go to the hills we both know.

And bury your sorrows amongst the trees;

Miss me, but let me go.

:P Chirpy, that is very beautiful. I tend not to let go when I should. :P

 This pome is great, I lost my little guy last month, it was tragic for me but now he is free, he had much to overcome and he did it and taught me so much!

I lost my budgie, Sky, when my friend opened the budgie's cages to feed them. Sky flew away. It's been 15 days since he was gone.

I miss him.?
