November 9, 200618 yr There are different type of dominant pieds. My Merlin is a dominant pied with the spot on the back of his head and everything looks normal. Clearflights don't have any markings on their flight feathers. If you click on the links above it gives you a great description .
November 9, 200618 yr hi lovey, thank- you for the info, i believe she is a youngster being she was pictured with a bunch of other baby budgies, I really like her though to bad it'll be difficult to find one just like her...(Laughing out loud)
November 9, 200618 yr They are not as rare as you think you just have to keep your eyes open for them
November 9, 200618 yr this is probably very true, my problem is i completely refuse to but budgies from the petshop and theres not many breeders around here anymore,it seems budgies, tiels and lovies were a dime a dozen so now nobody is breeding them around here its all about the larger parrots.
November 9, 200618 yr I haven't seen them in our pet shops either much but I am sure they are around and I really haven't been looking because I don't want to fall in love (Laughing out loud) since we are at our pet limit presently. But if you keep an eye out in the newspapers. on-line on pet finders you may be surprised what you can find that needs a home and just maybe what you are looking for.

If you click on the links above it gives you a great description :budgiedance:. there's clearflight pied and austrailian pied. clearflight pieds can have some clear plumage around the neck but the body should for the most part be solid, this is the difference between the two.
