Hello everyone I havn't been on in a great while. I guess you know that means I have been enjoying a happy healthy bird. Well just tonight I noticed she was itching and scatching her bottom. Well I took a closer look and could see her whole bottom was bear. It also looked a little soiled,something I had never seen on her before,I've had her 2 yrs now. So I picked her up and with a little bit of warm water I cleaned her booty up. Then I spayed just a little bit of Ultra-care bird bath spray there and on her body too. Is this something I should take her to the vet for? It scares me anytime she has something going on. Help someone!

By the way in case I didn't mention it she is a beautiful yellow and green Budgie about 2yrs and a couple of months old. okay Thanks in advance a worried mom. :(

She looks so normal from the front, but her bottom looks just awfull! What should I put on it? She is still scatching it alot.

yes take her to the avian vet asap that is not normal if it is red and swollen and bare. Keep us updated.
