I have been a member here for a couple of weeks now and have posted a couple of questions already and pics of my georgeous baby's (budgies) but I just wanted to do a proper introduction of myself My name is Julia I am a 30yr old( :ausb: ) mother of 3 children and 4 budgies (yes I have a problem with my age :(Laughing out loud): ) last time I looked I was 25....... anyway I have had pets all my life when I was growing up as a kid at one stage we had 3 dogs 2 cats and 3 koi fish when I left home I got a dog of my own who was with me for 9 and half years but sadly had to be put down because she had cancer and was gettin very sick and it was the best thing for her and I haven't really had a pet since as my dog passing was hard on my children, but my kids are older now so we decided to get some budgies. the first 2 I got are stormy (male) and winter (female) they are outside in a big cage enjoying the space to fly around and play with there toys winter however prefer's to climb around the cage don't know why she can fly a bit but chooses not to, stormy however he is a show off fly's around all the time and sits and talks to himself and me when I'm sitting out there with them. the 2nd 2 I've got are dora(female named by my 4yrold (can't imagine where she got the name from hehe) and boots (male also named by my 4yrold) these 2 can't fly due to having pulpitis when they were very little they never grew in there flight feather's (there is a post in another section about it) they are inside with me boots and I have done some bonding when he is out of the cage he will step up onto my finger eventually hehe but in the cage he doesn't want to know me probably because dora doesn't want to know me yet but we will work on that.... the kids love to watch the birds and we are all loving having them around, as I have now probably told you my life story hehe I will be of as I have to get SOME work done while my kids are at school Edited November 8, 200618 yr by juleslou
