Eyes Dilating....

Does anyone else find it slightly creepy when the males make their pupils go really small and their iris gets really wide? it's like he's a zombie or something...Anyone else thinks that's even a teensy bit creepy? :( (Laughing out loud)

i think its really cute because they are so excited! :(

:( That'd have to be my favourite thing about having male budgies- when they start their "crazy talk" and the eyes dilate in and out!!!!

you know I never noticed because Pretty doesn't have an iris ring to see the pupil and Merlin's eyes are covered slightly with his long feathers. Interesting.

YES I love it but it is kind of scary\intense!

:( You should see Comet's eyes when he gets excited or is trying to woo a bird, looks very wild! :o

Oh yes, I love it... When two of my males (only two of them in the cage) Tango and Mr Attitude go at it with full on flirting, it's cool to see both their eyes dilate.. :(
