Posted November 2, 200618 yr My little Chico let me give him head scritches tonight! Yesss!!!! Success!!!! :hap: That's got to be a step in the right direction. :(Laughing out loud):
November 3, 200618 yr Congratulations!! I know exactly how you feel - my little Petey let me scratch his head for the first time a few weeks ago and I was so excited that my husband thought something was wrong! Petey wasn't too keen for a scratch last night but the millet spray bribery arrangement we have seems to be working well :hap: I'd have much more success if I could play with him all day but he's just too noisy (and messy!) to bring into work with me (but wouldn't that be fun )

He's currently busy glaring at me. He seems to have little moments where he wants attention, but it's all very much on his terms. He did some biting at me tonight, but I did the pressing back on his beak thing, at which he stopped trying to get me and just looked confused!

Hey Jannette, I just bought a little Dominant Sky Blue last week and his name is Chico too !! he settled in much quicker than what we thought, by the third day he was letting us pat his chest, and he even went on my finger when I placed it in front of him .... he is already starting to get his own little personality, he is only 7 weeks old but progressing well ... I had one named Harley that was already 5 yrs old when I got him a while ago, he was FULL of personality and did crazy stuff, but Harley died earlier this year thats why I had to get another .... hopefully Chico will be just as crazy as harley was! :dbb1: Edited November 5, 200618 yr by MissHarley
